Lobuche East Peak Climb

TRIP OVERVIEW

Trip Information

Actually Lobuche Peak includes two different summits: East (6119 m) and West (6145 m). These two summits are connected by a continuous edge and there is a significant distance between the two summits of peak Lobuche. The east Lobuche summit is a trekking peak where as the west peak is often categorized under an expedition peak. This peak was first officially ascended in 1984 by Laurence Nileson and Ang Gyaljen Sherpa.

Lobuche East peak, a breathtaking peak provides a range of existing routes as well as some new routes. The depressing triangle of its rocky east part sets down to the moraines of Khumbu Glaciers to a pleasing skyline, making the south face. Lobuche East is ascended by moving downward a noticeable nick and walking up sharply from snowy slopes to the Summit. Most of the times, the peak is ascended on the peak ridge only as far as a secondary high point, south-east of the right peak. The peak is also referred to as the false peak.

The Lobuche East peak gives you the spectacular views of the magnificent Mount Everest as well as various other Himalayan panoramas including the peaks of Rongbuk regions of the Tibet. The elated moments that you will capture after ascending the mighty east lobuche are the views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Thamsherku, Khumbu Glacier, Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Makalu etc… En route are various Sherpa villages and monasteries providing you the insights of Nepali Himalayan lifestyle.

So, if you are convinced to go for this mighty Himalayan glory of the Lobuche East peak, then please let Ganesh Himal Hiking Team to design your Itinerates. We have a 21- day itinerary designed for your convenience and are always ready for a change suiting your needs.

An amazing trip with Ganesh Himal Hiking to Kathmandu, Mt. Everest BC, Pokhara and Chitwas

Rating: 5 - Excellent

We received outstanding personal service from Binod and his team at Ganesh Himal Hiking Team. It was an exceptional experience in every way. We were met at the airport, he gave us personal transportation along with many great tours to cultural sites in Kathmandu, he took us to some wonderful restaurants and he set us up in a very nice hotel in Thammel. Binod really knows how to take great care of his clients with a personal touch. We also loved meeting his mother, father and his family which added greatly to our cultural experience in Nepal.

Additionally, Binod's brother Bishnu, was our guide on our trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Bishnu took excellent care of my trekking partner and me throughout the trek to Everest Base Camp and back. Our trek was also an amazing cultural experience as well as a remarkable trekking experience! We loved the Nepalese people and, of course, we loved seeing the incredible scenery. Also, Binod personally guided us on a trip to Pokhara, Nepal where he arranged for us a guided rafting trip, a paragliding trip and a trip to Chitwan National Park where we did a tour on the back of an elephant spotting wildlife and we were able to attend a nice cultural program. The accommodations in Pokhara and the food were fantastic. I highly recommend Binod and his Ganesh Himal Hiking Team to anyone who is interested in receiving the best service and the best trekking and cultural experience in Nepal.
