Everest Region Trekking
The region that hosts the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest (8848 meters), is undoubtedly the most popular trekking destination for trekkers. Most of this region lies in the Solukhumbu district in eastern Nepal and is conserved as Sagarmatha National Park. This national park, named after Sagarmatha – the Nepali name for Mount Everest spans over an area of 1148 square kilometers and ranges from 2845 meters all the way up to 8848 meters above sea level. Established in 1976, this protected area houses more than 118 species of birds and a number of rare animal species such as snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer and red panda. Common vegetations found here include blue pines, firs, rhododendron, birch and junipers.
Above 5750 meters, there is no vegetation seen because the land remains under snow during the whole year.In this region, there are several other mountains like Mt. Lhotse (8516m) , Mt. Nuptse (7861m), Mt. Pumori (7161m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6812m), Mt.Kantega (6779m), Mt. Thamserku (6623) and Kwangde peak (6187m). There are numerous high passes, rivers and glaciers and glacier lakes. The region is primarily inhabited by Sherpa’s, Magars and other ethnic groups of Tibetan origin. Tibetan influence can be seen in the culture, festivals, houses and monuments like monasteries, chortens and gompas. Everest Base Camp Trek
Firstly the well known and most liked by the people are Everest Base camp which is the popular trekking in the Everest region which is also the dream destination where one get to perceive the close view of mighty mountain Everest including with other several snowcapped peaks of the Everest region. We have designed this 14 days itinerary in such way where the novice trekkers can also attempt it with physically and mentally fit. The highest point we will reach is at the altitude of 5545 meter. On the way to your trekking destination you will come across Buddhists monasteries where you will be observing the well known Yeti scalp which is kept in the Khumjung monastery. During the trek you will also come across diverse flora and fauna of the Everest region and you will also get to explore the culture of Sherpa people and their way of living in the mountainous region.
Everest Panorama Trekking
Comparing with other trekking package of the Everest region this Everest Panorama Trekking is one of the easiest trekking. It is the ideal trekking perfectly fit for those who have only few vacations and this trek can be attempted even by the beginner’s trekkers. This itinerary of this trek is 12 days trek and the highest point of this trek we will be reaching is Tengboche monastery which is the altitude of 3860 meter. In this trek you will be rewarded with spectacular snowcapped of the Everest/ Khumbu region and of course the mighty highest mountain Everest can be also seen. Beside the natural scenery one will also get to explore the rich Sherpa culture and also get to visit the Buddhists monastery.
Gokyo Valley Trekking
Gokyo valley trekking is also one of the popular trekking as well as off beaten trekking of the Everest region. In concise Gokyo Valley is a magnificent valley in the gloom of four 8000ers including with the Mount Everest and the exquisite valleys of turquoise glacial lakes. This moderate trekking- Gokyo valley trek which is located at the Everest Region best suits to those adventure trekkers who desire to trek in the quiet and less crowded routes. The itinerary of this trek is 13 days and the highest point we will be reaching is at the altitude of 5386 meter which is Gokyo Ri.
Everest High Pass Trekking
This trek is the thrilling trek of the Everest region where you will be crossing the three challenging high passes which are Kongma La Pass at 5,535/18,159ft, Cho La Pass at 5420m/17,782ft and Renjo La Pass at 5,340m/17,520ft and even ascend to the kalapathar to capture the close view of the Everest including with other snowcapped peaks. This trek is perfect to those adventure people who are seeking for the challenging adventurous trekking. We have carefully designed this trek itinerary which is a 19 days trek and the highest point we will be reaching will be at the maximum altitude 5554 meter.
Everest Base Camp Trek via Jiri
This Everest base camp Trek via Jiri path is one of the classic Everest treks which were first discovered by the Everest Expedition in 1953. This trek journey is bit long and the itinerary we have designed is 21 days but during this 21 days journey with the Ganesh Himal Hiking Team, your trip will be outstanding which you have never thought about it. The main highlight of this trek is hiking to the Kalapathar and from here getting the close view of Everest is mesmerize to view and even exploring the Sherpa culture is the key highlight of this trek. The highest point of this trek is Kalapathar which is at the altitude of 5545 meter.
Island peak climbing with Everest Base Camp Trek
Island peak climbing with Everest base camp is perfectly fit for those energetic and physically fit people and has a desire to do such adventurous trip that includes trekking as well as peak climbing. In the Everest region this Island peak climbing is common and most attempted peak climbing of the Everest region which can be easily done by the novice trekkers with physically and mentally fit and its altitude is 6189 meter and 20,305ft. This journey is 19 days where we will be covering the Everest base camp, Kalapathar, several Buddhists monasteries and commendable peak climbing. In this trek you will get to perceive the highest mountain Everest with other several snowcapped peaks and beside that you will also get to explore the rich culture of Sherpa inhabitants.
Gokyo Cho la Pass with Everest Base Camp Trekking
Gokyo cho la pass trekking with Everest base camp trek is the strenuous trekking in the Khumbu region and it is the 18 days trip. The Gokyo cho la pass is also known as Everest circuit where we will be heading all the way to the Everest region and the highest point we will be reaching is at the altitude of 5550 meter. In this trek you will be rewarded with Cho Oyu at 8201m, Makalu at 8463m, and Lhotse at 8516 m and of course the highest mountain in the world Everest at 8850m can be also seen. On the way you will be also crossing by Sherpa villages where you will get an opportunity to explore the culture of Sherpa inhabitants and their lifestyles.
Everest Three Pass with Island Peak Climbing
This dual adventure that includes trekking as well as peak climbing is for those adventure seekers who prefer to attempt this challenging trip where one will be crossing the three challenging pass which are Renjo La at 5,360m, Cho La pass at 5,420m and Kongma La pass at 5,535 meter. Beside that we will be also ascending the Gokyo Ri and kalapathar which offer the magnificent close view of the Everest including with other several snowcapped peaks. On 23 days journey we will be also summiting the island peak which is not so challenging like other peak climbing where the novice climber can also attempt it. The maximum altitude we will be reaching is 6,189m/20,305ft which is island peak.
This trek is one of the arduous trekking in the Everest region. This valley is also called as grave due to its locations as it is buried down between the steep ice giants. The area lies between the Everest range and the Langtang range where in this trek you will be rewarded with the range of Langtang as well as range of Everest Mountains. Overall this trek rewards with natural and cultural beauty of the Himalayan country- Nepal. In this region there are lots of mysteries and it is tend to believe that it is the home of Yeti where in the Khumjung monastery you will get to observe the Yeti scalp.
