Welcome to the Panorama Trekking of Everest Region

Everest Panorama Trekking is certainly a striking choice for the itinerants enjoying the beautiful vista of the snow-capped Himalayas, Himalayan culture, and the Sherpas. Relatively an easy trek in comparison to the rest of circuit, Everest Panorama Trek offers a splendid view of world’s highest peak Mount Everest combined with the beautiful allures of Ama DablamKhantegaLhotseNuptseTawocheThamserku with sporadic culturally and spiritually enriched monasteries stopovers.

Everest Panorama Trekking is designed for both learners and veterans bringing the best of adventure and delight as the circuit is just a steady walk following trails of Tengboche (3860m) - the highest point of the circuits rendezvous.

Our Trek journey starts with a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu giving the best aerial view of the Himalayas. Upon reaching to Lukla, we can enjoy the beautiful long-standing mountains ready to captivate with its beauty.  We start walking through banks of Dudh Koshi River passing through lush green pine and rhododendron forest consequently leading to take a descend down to Phakding to finally reach a meticulously designed beautiful suburb of Namche Bazaar enjoying the yearning climb to Namche accompanied by the beautiful landscape, river, monasteries and the people.

Taking a day off to acclimatize & explore Namche Bazaar to get acquainted with Sherpa culture, community & their rich history, tradition, Sir Edmond Hillary Trust, and monasteries. A day rest helps to get energized for a big hike to the most interesting part of the trek to Khumbu region which involves climbing through steep slopes, following the icy cold path passing through numerous village, meadows, and monasteries finally leading to the last stop of the journey to Khumbu region.

Ascent to Khumbu region is a bit tiring although going up brings better and beautiful views of Mount Ama Dablam, Mount Lhotse, KhumbuKhantega, Tawoche, and Thamserku to offset exhaustion. Relish on the breathtaking views of these mountains with the majestic Everest on your bedside. Visit Tengboche monastery to get enticed by the Tibetan culture, unveil and rejoice your spiritual energy, whereas, employ occasions to take beautiful stills of nature’s wonderful backdrop to embrace this journey for a lifetime.

These are the approximate guidelines for a trek on each day which may differ according to the itinerary or schedule or your pace while trekking.

Normally, you are required to trek for 4-6 hours each day. We start our trek after breakfast and stop for the lunch. We trek for 3-4 hours after lunch to reach our destination. If we reach our destination in afternoon, you can spend rest of the hours relaxing, take shower or just wander around.

Changes in the Itinerary:

Our regular itinerary of the Everest Panorama Trek is 12 days unless you have customized it.  The itinerary has been carefully designed by our operation manager which is very pragmatic & includes the high altitude acclimatizing. These 12 days includes your arrival day, departure and sightseeing Kathmandu. It also has an extra day which allows flexibility to adjust the delay or cancellation of flight due to sudden changes in the Himalayan weather.

If you would like to extend more days or lessen some, we surely can do that as per your wish.

Safety Measures:

Client’s safety is our main priority and we make sure that each and every client is well taken care of.  If by chance anyone gets sick during the trek, we will take you to the nearest hospital as soon as possible. If the condition is serious – we will use the rescue helicopter to take you to the nearest hospital while all the expenses will be carried out by the travel insurance company. We suggest you get insured for up to 6000 meters.

Please go thoroughly what’s covered and not in the insurance policy.

Booking and Payment:

After confirming or booking the trip – all we need is the copy of the passport, insurance policy, and the international flight details (ticket). Then, a 20% advance deposit is required for any trip, trek or expedition which is not refundable - used for reservations of hotels and lodges according to the itinerary.

The remaining balance is due when you arrive at Kathmandu and can be paid by any means convenient to you. We prefer payment via cash (to avoid any extra service charge) but bank transfer, credit cards, western union, and pay pal are also the accepted form of payments.

Flight Delay in Kathmandu and Lukla:

Only domestic mountain flight is only available from Kathmandu to Lukla and sometimes the flight might be delayed or canceled due to unforeseen adverse Himalaya weather condition.

This is the reason we have kept an extra day in the itinerary to cover up such situations. In case the flight is canceled for 2 or more days, we will charter a helicopter to make sure that you reach on the scheduled flight to your destination. The expense for this service will be carried out by the insurance company which can be deposited directly in the office of the Ganesh Himal Hiking Team. The helicopter charter cost is in between the US $ 500 to $ 3500 depending upon the number of people in the flight.

An amazing trip with Ganesh Himal Hiking to Kathmandu, Mt. Everest BC, Pokhara and Chitwas

hil32015 | Spokane, Washington | October 26 , 2014

Rating: 5 - Excellent

We received outstanding personal service from Binod and his team at Ganesh Himal Hiking Team. It was an exceptional experience in every way. We were met at the airport, he gave us personal transportation along with many great tours to cultural sites in Kathmandu, he took us to some wonderful restaurants and he set us up in a very nice hotel in Thammel. Binod really knows how to take great care of his clients with a personal touch. We also loved meeting his mother, father and his family which added greatly to our cultural experience in Nepal.

Additionally, Binod's brother Bishnu, was our guide on our trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Bishnu took excellent care of my trekking partner and me throughout the trek to Everest Base Camp and back. Our trek was also an amazing cultural experience as well as a remarkable trekking experience! We loved the Nepalese people and, of course, we loved seeing the incredible scenery. Also, Binod personally guided us on a trip to Pokhara, Nepal where he arranged for us a guided rafting trip, a paragliding trip and a trip to Chitwan National Park where we did a tour on the back of an elephant spotting wildlife and we were able to attend a nice cultural program. The accommodations in Pokhara and the food were fantastic. I highly recommend Binod and his Ganesh Himal Hiking Team to anyone who is interested in receiving the best service and the best trekking and cultural experience in Nepal.
